Ferrari today lifted the veil on its latest masterpiece, the Ferrari Amalfi, a V8 twin-turbo front-engined 2+ coupé. This stunning new model seamlessly succeeds the Ferrari Roma, further enriching the Prancing Horse's distinguished product lineup.
At the heart of the Ferrari Amalfi beats an evolution of the celebrated F154 twin-turbo V8 engine, now meticulously optimized to deliver a formidable 640 horsepower at 7,500 rpm. This powerplant, stemming from the most awarded engine family in recent automotive history, guarantees immediate throttle response and superb performance in all conditions, with a maximum torque of 760 Nm available between 3,000 and 5,750 rpm.
The performance figures are nothing short of remarkable: the Amalfi accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in a blistering 3.3 seconds and reaches 200 km/h (124 mph) in just 9.0 seconds. With a best-in-class power-to-weight ratio of 2.29 kg/cv and a top speed of 320 km/h (199 mph), the new model promises an exhilarating driving experience. The eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, first introduced on the SF90 Stradale, has been further optimized for even faster and smoother gear changes.
The unmistakable Ferrari roar has been meticulously preserved, even in compliance with the most stringent emission standards. This is achieved through a new exhaust system and proportionally controlled bypass valves, which adapt the sound to various driving conditions.
In terms of design, the Ferrari Amalfi's front fascia is dominated by a large air intake and a long, sculpted hood, hinting at its underlying power. At the rear, an integrated active spoiler contributes to high-speed stability, while forged wheels and carbon fiber accents complete a sporty yet sophisticated aesthetic.
The active aerodynamics, featuring a new integrated and movable rear spoiler, ensure stability across all driving conditions and Manettino positions. This spoiler can adopt three configurations (Low Drag, Medium Downforce, and High Downforce), generating an increase in downforce of 110 kg (242.50 lbs) at 250 km/h (155 mph) in dynamic driving situations, with minimal impact on drag.
Inside, the Ferrari Amalfi adopts a "dual-cockpit" layout, where both driver and passenger are enveloped in visually connected cells. The new steering wheel with physical buttons marks a return to tactile controls, and the iconic aluminum start button makes a welcome reappearance.
The Human-Machine Interface (HMI) system has been completely revamped, centered around three main screens: a 15.6-inch digital instrument cluster for the driver, a 10.25-inch central capacitive touchscreen for multimedia and vehicle function control, and an 8.8-inch display for the passenger. The latter offers a true co-pilot experience, showcasing parameters like G-forces and engine RPMs.
The 2+2 seating configuration significantly enhances practicality and luggage capacity, making the rear seats genuinely usable for everyday needs. For an immersive on-board experience, the optional Burmester® premium audio system, featuring 14 speakers and 1,200 watts of power, delivers reference-quality sound. Additionally, the optional front lifting system allows the car to easily overcome urban obstacles, raising the front by up to 40 mm.
The Ferrari Amalfi interprets Ferrari's sporting spirit in a modern way, promising an uncompromising driving experience in any context, seamlessly combining elegance, performance, excitement, and functionality.
